Listening and speaking – An interview

Objective

To enable the students to:

  • Practise asking and answering questions

Description

Students take turns to ask each other questions. Suggestions could be:

  • A news event
  • A famous person
  • Their interests

Reading and writing – Article for school website /newsletter

Objective

To enable the students to:

  • Read the school newsletter / website
  • Choose a topic upon which to write an article
  • Write a brief article for the school newsletter / website

Description

Students examine the school newsletter/website to identify the categories / topics upon which to write a brief article for inclusion
